My last post was in June because for the last 5 weeks we've been very busy. The girls have been going to Sports camps (soccer, baseball/cheerleading), drama camp and Vacation Bible School. Now we can relax a little but I'm getting ready to ease them back into school work. We have a couple books on the Moon Landing and a fun book on Ancient Rome. I also have state worksheets to complete, they want to learn about the state we'll be driving through on our upcoming vacation this fall.
We are eclectic homeschoolers so I'm always looking for fun stuff to do - this way the kids learn and don't even realize it....sneaky huh?? I also enjoy helping others plan their family vacations and save money...right now is a great time for travel deals so check out my travel blog too! (See the link under about me.)
Next week we are going to help clean up the beach at Mentor Headlands Beach...which will be our first time at this beach. Of course, we'll take a picnic than a dip in the Lake (weather permitting).
